It’s just me again…..tryin to learn stuff.
Been a bit & have had some time to muck around with this 60w MOPA fiber laser. Dialing in materials settings is interesting, as I have no fucking clue what I’m doing! Wisely provided stainless samples from this actual machine, but aluminum is a crap shoot.
A bit of lurking online & a bunch of material tests now to dial in & save settings for each material.

Commission the machine was easy peasy with supplied documentation. Started on EZcad 2, it worked sure enough……but Lightburn is feels waaay easier to use. Huge plus is the material test generator, a must for a noob like me.

……I’m looking forward to making some cool shit with this, but definitely getting into production and marking customer product is the #1 priority.
If you’re looking for me, be in the garage……(if you have any setting advice for stainless let me know!)
