Just pissing around in Onshape, drawing some nests & parallels to 3D print for the laser.

When I first got the sweet Ender, I was using a Mac & couldn’t find a free CAD (I’m cheap). Tried a few, had troubles with them on IOS.

Fuck…..this went on for a while. Printing shit from thingiverse is cool, but eventually you need to print useful stuff.

I was chatting with a dude running a water jet shop (at my day job) & he mentioned Onshape. Never heard of it…………he said it’s exactly what you need!

Gave it a whirl…..fuuuucccck me. This is more powerful than the AutoCAD I learned in college. It’s browser based and free!

Every time it amazes me, we used a $99 Zip disk to save autoCAD files in college! (Before a 1 gig USB stick!)
